IX. Assistance To Nationals

The Embassy coordiantes necessary and appropriate actions to
assist Filipinos in situations of distress. Requests of such nature
are handled on a case-to-case basis. Actions taken by the Embassy
include, but are not limited to coordiantion with next-of-kin or
relatives, faciliatting repatriation; mediation and conciliation;
proper representations with Thai authorities; legal advice and
counseling; prison visitation; and, monitoring of cases in court.
