Siam Pinoy is an active community powered by the Filipino Expats in Thailand and friends all over. To be able to keep track of activities to provide future incentives, a way to inspire more interaction and promote active participation, the point system program was installed.

Yes but what to do with points earned?

Points will get you listed in the Siam Pinoy Community Network "Top Users" list located on the homepage. Also, if there is a special contest or raffle for that particular week or month, points can qualify you or will serve as basis for you to win the contest.

How to earn points?

1. Register to Siam Pinoy

Points: 50 Points
How are points awarded: automatic

2. Daily login

Points: 10 Points
How are points awarded: automatic

3. Send email invites to friend/s. Must be valid email address.

Points:: 0 Points
How are points awarded: automatic

4. Invited friends successfully registered to Siam Pinoy.

Points: 20 Points
How are points awarded: automatic

5. Referers get bonus points (percentage points) for all user points
awarded to their referees.

Points: 30%

6. Add new forum topic/thread

Points: 5 Points
How are points awarded: automatic

7. Reply to forum topic/thread (the response must contain 80 characters minimum to assigns points)

Points: 5 Points

8. Add blog

Points: 5 Points

9. Add photo album

Points: 0 Points

10. Upload photo

Points: 0 Points per photo
How are points awarded: automatic

11. Upload video

12. Add points when registered user reads article

Points: 1 Point

13. Add points to author when a user reads an article.

Points: 1 Point

14. Assign points to user on his/her birthday (only one time in year when user has his/her birthday). Note: User must be logged in this day to earn those points, else don't get those points.

15. Special Bonus Points

Points: 50 Points
How are points awarded: Manually by the committee as a reward to a user with high quality level of participation in the community. Special Bonus Points is only given once a month to a single user.

Under the Points System Program menu > User Points.

How does SPC check the user points?

We took advantage of today's latest software program and integrated it to our system to keep track of the users activities and their points earned.
