Desperate Time Calls for a Desperate Measure 1 Year, 9 Months ago Karma: 51
We all know the current political situation in the Kingdom and we all know that prevention is better than cure. But we’re all in the verge of waiting and seeing and we don’t know what will happen next. So, as a member of this community I made a list of things to do if worst comes to worst.

1. Don’t participate to any political argument or political criticism.

2. Avoid the hot zone or the rally areas.

3. Don’t wear clothing that indicates a certain movement.

4. Always be vigilant. Read the news, internet forum updates and watch local TV news.

5. Be aware of what is going on in your neighborhood.

6. Keep away from people who are involve to any political agenda.

7. Refrain from gathering more than 5 people in the public places.

8. Make sure that you have enough money in your wallet or at home.

9. Stock up enough food and water in your place.

10. Always check the load and battery of your mobile. Save the number of the embassy or other important agencies.

11. Store necessary medicine such as paracetamol, antibiotic and pain reliever meds.

12. Pack up important clothing and things in your bag.

13. Make a definite list of destinations in case you’ll leave your house.

14. Don’t panic. Always have a presents of mind.

15. If you have an automobile, always check the gas.

16. Don’t get involve to any conflict against the local people.

17. Make sure that you always have your passport, work permit and other personal documents.

Sorry, Mr. Fit, Sir...

But, I am just getting tired of being concern about the situation. It is monotonously boring...

So, yes, I am just living my life as normal, not bothered at all. But, of course, I have committed myself not to go anywhere near the affected areas UNTIL there is peace which is so far elusive.

Well, Mr. Fit, of all those included in your list I think the above is the most significant.

I am beginning to think here that it is what makes us, Filipinos, different. We put a lot of emotional consideration in everything we do. We are cautious when we are outside our country except those drug mules who are in isolated cases. And that transgresses into respect in the eyes of our host countries. I see it now. If this attitude of being silent and not going with the flow gives us positive standing, I will just let it be - eventhough it makes me sick at times thinking that we are not actually mum or silent inside.

Just this thought though: what if there are lots of things that people can learn from our experience? Do you think that this tightlippedness is a refusal to edify the needy?

I wonder where we stand on this. I need to be enlightened....PERSONALLY, Mr. Fit. Please I need an enlightenment big time!

Master, you seemingly have advised me NOT TO TALK, but what of this question? Hmmmm...Do you really really want me to talk? I have to remind you though that I will ask you not to edit any of my future posts...PLUS, I will call on Sir Darfur to join me...he he he...

Can you imagine how big it will be here when Sir Darfur joins to talk about his BIG OLE BLOWN CONTENTIONS of the world? It will be a chaos, painstakingly chaotic!...he he he...

Advised not to talk? Since you seem to be insistent on what you want to say na makakatulong sa iba. Sige nga try natin? I was just protecting you guys na when it was posted na (ano ba yun?) pagbigyan an ang mga pula dahil pagod na sa mga nangyayari. Not to side with them but tao pa rin naman silang mga naglalaban laban. Sige nga what sort of experience mo ang you think makakatulong sa ating lahat?
