Ask yourself, if my accomplishments will be published in a newspaper or any media outlets will I be proud of it? Will my family be proud of it? Even if no one is looking will I be proud of what I do?
I guess if a teacher or any professional answer yes to these questions, then I believe it is enough incentives for them to be motivated. What do you think, do I make sense?

Competence and Efficiency do play a major role in whatever one does. Reinforcing one's ability is also a plus. Balance, as what we do, in matters of cognitive, affective and psychomotor. Bloom's taxonomy is not just for students. I think it's also for the teachers as we grow with our students. We all never stop learning.
Finally, one can be at his best where the "heart is" and so not settling for GOOD only, we can do a lot better than being one.  |
