Hi, I thought I would just introduce myself.

My name's Danny and I'm an English teacher from England living in Bangkok for 7 years.

As you can see I'm not a Fillipino but I hope that wont stop me from being able to contribute.

Having worked in the Thai teaching sector for a number of years, I have had the opportunity to work with Fillipine nationals. Before this I never knew much about the Fillipines but my experience has only been a positive one!

I have met some great friends and can truely say you are great teachers and are a credit to the teaching profession. Thailand are blessed to have such a great country in ASEAN willing to share their English skills.

Often undervalued compared to some *NATIVE* western teachers, I can only hope things change in the future.

I wish you all a belated Happy New Year and may 2010 be a healthy and prosperous one!

hello, Dannyboy! Welcome to Siampinoy! I am sure you will enjoy participating here. My Sweetheart (american guy) had fun and really enjoyed being with the members of this community when we had our Christmas Party last December (pictures are attached in the SP Christmas Party is On subject).
