I will be travelling with a group of 6 people. 2 senior citizens along. Do you know any van rental for hire that is cheap? local or pinoy?

The target date is June 18-21, 2012.

4.15 pm Depart Mla- Clark
6.30 pm Arrival in BKK
Pick up from airport to hotel

7pm Depart for Loy Nava Cruise Dinner at 8:10pm


June 25 Monday (Day 2)

7am Breakfast at hotel
9am Hotel Pick up by van rental

10am – 12nn Grand Palace / Wat Po (Temple of the Emerald Buddha) from 10am to 12nn

12nn – 1pm Lunch (Budget per head 100 baht)

2pm – 4pm Shopping in Pratunam Area or Baiyoke Sky Viewing Deck

4pm – 6pm Wat Arun

7pm Dinner

8pm – 10pm Chinatown

11pm- 12mn Back to hotel


June 26 Tuesday (Day 3)

Please feel free to make suggestions. I don't have a clear grasp yet of what the details are pertaining to each sights to see. I often come across tour packages for the tourist sights and i don't know how much are the fees if we forego the package thing.

Another thing is i don't have a clear idea which places are near each other so that i can arrange them efficiently to save time and money.

The dates that we are coming to Bangkok is June 24-27 (6 pax) 2 senior citizens.
The hotel we are eyeing to book is near the airport which is Thong Ta resort and spa hotel. They offer free round trip transfer to the airport and daily breakfast.

It would be ideal for us to have a van which we can rent for 2 days. We will use it on day 2 and 3 of our stay.

I would also like to know how much would be the ideal budget for food per pax? Any good places to eat?

I really appreciate all the help. I knew when i researched for online pinoy communities i would find one. I'm also a former OFW so i know where to run to.

Btw, great website! Very informative and most of all the people here are so friendly and helpful.

hi. VIP van rental costs 1,800 baht/day, does not include fuel. I think this is the standard rate. if you are interested i can provide you the contact number of the van owner (thai).
