We have a baby 11 months old who was born here in thailand but we brought him to the philippines last summer, now we are trying to bring him back again here to thailand. Can anybody help us on the process? We've heard that others did it without any visa at all. Is this true? Both of us parents are here in thailand at present.
Last July, 2010, I brought my 3 month old baby to Philippines (she was born in Thailand, too) On Sept. 1 we left Philippines back to Thailand. I guess there is no problem as long as you have these documents as they will ask these from you:
Birth Certificate (English & Thai translated versions)
Passport of the baby (of course)
Report of Birth (or/and NSO if meron)
Travel Tax (ask mo sa DOT how much sa baby ko kc sabi exempted sya pero I payed 200 pesos) depende daw kc sa age ang travel tax
Boarding pass (wla na sya bayad since tax lang nman binayaran nmin sa airplane at wla sya seat bale 150 baht or 200 pesos)
Zerox copy ng WP at Passport who will financially support the baby and me (tourist visa lng meron ako and home-based)
Hindi na kmi hinanapan ng invitation letter although meron nman kmi un nga lang registered mail hindi sya notarized
Actually, there is no need for visa tlga for the baby pero iba pa rin syempre un may mga supporting documents kayo like work permit isa man sa inyong mag asawa. In my case, the father has the WP so hindi nman cla mahigpit kung kumpleto ka sa docs pero syempre iba2 din depende sa taong mag iinterview sayo tyempuhan lang din. As long as di ka nman nagpapakita ng takot hindi ka nila pag iinitan
