That Philippines has so much to offer foreign visitors but needs to be promoted and marketed more aggressively with all sectors involved actively.

That it's very possible to make our roads in The Philippines a lot more attractive and functional. Wider too for more conveniences. I have to add that brushing sidewalks or foot pavements regularly is one of the ways to keep them clean, especially here in Bangkok.

That Thailand has more means of transportation offering more options for commuters regardless of pretty bad traffic jams.

Bus fares aren't really expensive and they cost a lot cheaper than taxis. You don't also have to worry getting robbed or snatched may it be cell phone or wearing any gold necklace in commuting but don't generally expect to get any help either in carrying your stuff, this doesn't really come in handy compared to Pinas. Lastly, TUKTUK is expensive, hindi pa aircon.

That the Thais respect silence while in bus, train, restaurants etc. or it can be the opposite when they are on their respective cell phones.

That it's very possible to sell anywhere for extra income. Night Bazaars, weekend markets etc. aside pa from selling cooked food and the likes.

That shoppers can get up up 80 percent off during the sale season.

That Thailand has a lot cheaper things to offer especially of basic commodities, check Tesco, Big C, Carrefoure etc.

That you get better discounts if you buy stuff in a wholesale price, and that wholesale price means at least three pcs.

It's more convenient to use DEBIT cards for shopping, buying some groceries and in any form of payment(hospitals, dentist etc).

That Philippine sales assistants are a lot more trained and offer better services. Our cashiers are a lot faster too.

That visiting a Buddhist Temple requires a foreigner to pay an entrance fee while it's free for the Thais. Catholic Churches never ask anything; however, they welcome any amount of donation for those who would like to share.

And lastly, I learn that I'm luckier to be a woman in the Phils. as I'm sure a Filipino man would offer me a seat regardless of the situation in a public commute, this you don't really get in Thailand whether you're wearing high heels or bringing some bags of shoppings. lololol!

If you want to lure more tourists to come to the Philippines, they development must be made to address what tourists want.

Metallic_Cotton already started with a list.

One thing I don't see in the Philippines are professional guides accredited by the DOT. This would do wonders in building a better image of the guides.

Pinoys should also innovate and create new products to sell to tourists. Enough Capiz and Pinya cloth products already - Boring.

Tourists need to eat. Even pinoys have difficulty finding food to eat - unlike in Thailand where you could buy food at almost every corner.

One of our main attractions is our spectacular seas. We are located at what some people call the Coral Triangle - where 80 of the planet's coral and marine species can be found. Yet not enough marketting is done to develop this product and sell it.

Safety is always an issue. But that is because there is a lot of poverty in the Philippines. If more people had work, there would be less criminality.

If you record silence on a tape and then play it back with the volume all the way up, will that drown out the noise in the room?

That we can improve our NATIONAL SECURITY, more police visibility and better service.

That we can be more humble and capable of thinking more for the whole country not just our very own selves.

That Phil. government programs are sure possible to get better especially for the common people.

That it's fine to sell granting there are places alloted for people and fees are very minimal for support.

That it is a lot better to buy WHOLESALE products and commodities and so better to get paid once a month. More cash on hand, more budgeting, more savings.

That it is fine to invest hoping it gets better rewards in the future, we save too much in there resulting to not doing anything at all.

That a Filipino can marry without minding any budget for dowry.

That we are very lucky we don't have to spend much just to learn ENGLISH, we can learn ENG all over the place in the Phils. even at no cost at all.

It's okay to eat RAW veggies especially swamp cabbage (kangkong), long beans and cabbage. (hmm even not cooked and unripe papaya.... hello, somtam ) hehehe!
