I really have mixied feelings about this practice. Kasi sa aking isang porma ng economic sabotage ito. Sa halip na i-stimulate nating ang ating economiya, linalason natin ito sa pamamagitan ng pag-iimport ng mga RTW, at mga ibat-ibang goods.

Sa ibang salita - bakit hindi ninyo ipunin ang inyong pera para gamiting ito bilang investment para sa isang negosyo - maging sari-sari store man o BBQ vendor. Sabi mo unemployed ang mga kamag-anak mo sa Pinas. Hindi mo sila tinutulungan kapag nananatili silang dependent sa iyo.

Looking out my office window, I see a young girl grilling barbecues everyday in front of a vocational school here in Chiang Rai. She also sells sticky rice to go along with the BBQ.

Being jobless is not a reason for poverty. Not doing anything to help yourself is.
